GA Trucking News Registration Extension for Georgia Apportioned Plates—
The Georgia Department of Revenue - Motor Vehicle Division has issued an extension for International Registration Plan ("IRP") Apportioned Registrations displaying a July 2015 expiration decal.
Please honor this grace period by delaying enforcement of expired Apportioned plate decals on vehicles operating in your jurisdiction until August 15, 2015.

GA Trucking News Same Day Service is not Guaranteed—
Beginning August 1, 2015, Same day service is not guaranteed for walk-in customers at Department of Revenue locations. Customers are encouraged to utilize the Georgia Trucking Portal to complete IRP & IFTA registrations and renewals. However, customers can email applications to the Commercial Registrations Unit at commercial.vehicles@dor.ga.gov.

GA Trucking News IRP February Renewals registration extension—
In response to Georgia Governor Nathan Deal's Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency for Disaster Preparedness and the ordering of Georgia state office closures, delayed openings, and early closures within the past several weeks due to inclement winter weather, the Georgia Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division has issued an extension on the February International Registration Plan related registrations. The Commercial Registration unit of the Georgia Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division advises that a grace period is provided through March 15, 2015 for all IRP fleet vehicle with Cab Cards reflecting February 28th, 2015 expirations.
